No, this isn't an "I told you so!" re: Lombardi on Iginla's line. It's a self-congratulation for coining a term that made it into the Battle of Alberta's "Terms of Battle".
Yup, that's right. In the words of Ron Burgundy, I'm kind of a big deal.

I'm glad you understand and appreciate the honour, MG. The Carpathians used to send virgins to us to get on that list. It's a tough nut to crack, especially with the CIO guys around. Well done.

I don't know. Those Carpathians tend to throw around virgins as if they were American Dollars.

I'll say. Damn their term-list monopolizing wit!
Shit man, nice job, I don't think there's any doubt anymore that you have the premier Calgary Flames only blog.
Still, I nominate Duncan's 'Zyunzinesque' for next year. Who's with me?
Thanks for the kind words, Kyle.
I actually think I win that honor by default, only because I tend to be more prolific than any other Flames blogger (need to get those guys - and you - to pump more stuff out somehow).
I'm a fan of Zyuzinesque, although it'll have a hard time getting traction at the BofA...largely because it's a "Flames only" reference.
Nuts to that, Flames-only references are fine. Although the Zyuzin reset I prefer is Andrea Susan. It's going up.
My problem in terms of my output lately is I've just been so busy at my job but things are slowing down now. Hoping to get back to my 3 or so posts a week.
Not sure what is going on with the rest of the Flames blogs. Probably similar issues as myself.
I went through a disgruntled phase (added on to my busy schedule at the time)...
Still watched most of the games, just couldn't find the motivation to actually type something...
I'm back now...

That's where you and I differ. When everything is going well is when my posting slows.
The thing is: I love to complain and pretend I have all the answers. So when the teams sucks, my motivation to blog increases.
