Even if his value goes up due to decreased supply, I doubt it will go up from a guy who is averaging 13 minutes per game over 4 (!) games, plus a draft pick, to a 2nd or 3rd line player. Especially a 2nd or 3rd line player who is young and under contract. It would take a pretty desperate team to be willing to give up that much.<BR/><BR/>Of course, a team like Buffalo may be feeling a bit desperate now that Philly has added a pretty strong player without losing anything. Just taking a quick scan of their roster, they have some young players (Stafford and Paille) who have decent numbers and are young and cheap. And maybe Buffalo would like to switch d-men, experience for youth, at the same time?<BR/><BR/>(Oops, maybe Stafford is hurt right now.
